Springtime Photoshoots are in the Air
Although the weather has been all over the place lately, I am hopeful for spring and hopeful that warm weather will come and STAY and no longer tease us. This past weekend, I had the pleasure of taking spring photos of this adorable guy. Check out my favorite from the shoot.

Fashion Makeover: "Jungle" Skirt
I absolutely love clothes. I think most of you know this by now. But I also love love love clothes that are passed down from older generations of my family. I love the idea of wearing something that my mom wore when she was my age or something my grandmother wore when she was my age. Some of you know I wore a dress that was my mom's dress to my bridal shower. I love that dress. And one great thing about that dress was that it needed no alterations to fit me or fit my style.
Well, my grandmother recently started going through her closet and gave me a few items out of it. Now, it will take me awhile to go through the items and get them all altered to fit me or get them updated to something that seems more modern, but I wanted to give you a first glance at one item she gave me.
This skirt - I call the jungle skirt - is something I would never pick out for myself if I saw it in a store. But when I put it on, it just felt fun. It was way too big, but still fun. I went and got it altered and taken in a bit, and a zipper added, and now it fits great. It is just a fun long skirt. Definitely not something most girls would have - or maybe even choose to wear - but I love it. I love the pattern, I love the fringe, I just love the memories of times that my grandmother wore the skirt.
So here it is - my jungle skirt -- let me know what you think of my first fashion makeover from my grandmother's closet!

Photoshoot: Miss M
Last weekend I had so much fun catching up with and taking pictures of this pretty girl. It had been awhile since we had talked much since she went away to school, and I enjoyed every minute we spent together last weekend. She is also so fun to take pictures of! Here are a few of my favorites:

Easter
Easter really is the most important day of the year. The day of our Savior's resurrection and His triumph over death. This is the day that our faith is built upon. Without it, our faith would be nothing.
This year was the first Easter Service of my new church. It was a great day with lots of new faces in attendance.
Besides the new faces...there were also a lot of "old" faces there - and I got to take pictures of some of them -- here are some of my favorites from Easter morning!
